Arsenal are considering a move for Frenkie de Jong.

But yes, if you can go directly to Barcelona, then you are right where you want to be. Faster than you ever dared to dream.” This sentiment could work in Arsenal’s favor if they pursue a transfer for the Dutch midfielder.

Arsenal are looking to strengthen their midfield, with De Jong being seen as a potential partner for Declan Rice at the heart of the midfield.

However, Barcelona are reportedly willing to allow De Jong to leave this summer for a fee of around £51 million, which is more expensive than other midfield targets like Mikel Merino.
